Center for Resource Solutions (CRS), the NGO that administers the Green-e® programs, greatly values your feedback and knowledge of the Peninsular Malaysia renewable energy market. Your feedback and input will help CRS offer Green-e® certification of qualifying renewable electricity and Energy Attribute Certificate sales made in Peninsular Malaysia, by developing a Peninsular Malaysia Market Appendix to the Green-e® Renewable Electricity Standard for International Certification (the International Standard).

Below is a list of specific questions CRS has compiled that pertain to specific sections of the Market Appendix. At the end of this questionnaire there will be a space for you to share any other feedback you may have on the Market Appendix.

Question 1: In order to be used in a Green-e® certified Renewable Energy Product, generators and generation may not be counted or attributed toward any specific national policy, scheme or program related to emissions or the power sector.

Are there any national policies, schemes or programs, which cover emissions or the power sector in Peninsular Malaysia that have binding compliance requirements or impact the end-user’s ability to claim or take ownership of environmental attributes, that you think should be considered in the Green-e® Peninsular Malaysia Market Appendix? (This question relates to Section lV.B of the International Standard)

Question 2: With the recent availability of the Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme (CRESS) and the Corporate Green Power Program (CGPP), are there any risks involved in certifying renewable electricity and EACs under these programs? (This question relates to Section ll.A and ll.B of the International Standard)
